Do you have trouble examining some wheelchair patients...those who sit too low for the slit lamp, and are difficult to transfer to the exam chair? I have been in Ophthalmology for 18 years. We have always been plagued with this problem. You resign yourself to the compromise, "I'll just do the best I can with the indirect", but never feeling good about the quality of the exam. I finally became so frustrated that I decided to find a device on the internet and purchase it. To my surprise, no such product was available! To fill this need, I designed the "Eye to Eye Lift". It has solved 95% of the problems with exams for wheelchair bound patients. It places the patient at the perfect height. Refracting and the slit lamp exam are now easy.
